It’s time to tell you about another fun staycation at Hilton-Abu Dhabi. The hotel is located on the Abu Dhabi Corniche road overlooking the Arabian Gulf: Good location and decent facilities. Since the hotel is on the other side of the road there is an underpass that takes one to the Hilton Beach, kids club and the restaurant. The rooms are comfortable and nice, we opted for a family suite. It was nice with city and beach view along with general amenities. The hotel is surrounded by greenery and you will find many spots to take photographs.
We had our lunch at the beach side at Vasco’s, that features flavours from all around the world. It is named after the famous explorer Vasco Da Gama and the menu is inspired by Vasco Da Gama’s exploration route. You will find good vegetarian options as well . They serve Indian , Italian , Seafood etc. My son really enjoyed the fish and chicken and I relished the vegetarian dishes. They do have a kids menu if needed. Desserts are definitely a must try especially the Cheesecake. The restaurant offers lovely view of the Arabian Gulf and is totally a kid-friendly place. They are open for lunch and dinner.
For Dinner I took my sister to Jazz Bar & Dining that’s located in the hotel ;an awesome place to spend an evening and late night. They have a live band that’s terrific and it was great fun to be there. Apparently they have won Time Out Abu Dhabi Nightlife’s ‘Best Live Music’ and ‘Best Jazz Night’ awards in 2015 and they lived upto their name. One can sit back for hours enjoying the band and DJ while sipping on to some innovative cocktails. I had a few signature drinks and ordered for bar snacks. This place is a must go in the Capital City.
All in all a great fun weekend with a mix of relaxation and night life!! Jazz Bar is a must do while you are there.
