This month I Celebrated my Birthday at the super gorgeous The Palace Downtown Hotel. An intimate gathering attended by some friends, fellow bloggers and well-wishers at an Afternoon Tea.
At Al Bayt a splendid setting greets you as you enter The Palace Downtown Dubai – Al Bayt, Arabesque lobby lounge, which makes a delightful first impression. Embellished with glowing candles and eclectic lanterns, and extending onto a balcony that pays tribute to towering Burj Khalifa.
Featuring Afternoon Tea Festival, which highlights an innovative afternoon tea buffet spread and each month boasts a different theme, accompanied by live violin performances. One can enjoy a selection of refined favourites including delectable scones with clotted cream and jams, cupcakes, and cheesecake; not forgetting the savouries of seafood voulevant, smoked salmon on rye, finger sandwiches and more, served of course with your choice of tea or coffee and complemented with the sounds of a live violinist and resident harpist.
Dates: Every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday
Timings: 2pm to 6pm,
Price: AED 160 per person, including afternoon tea buffet and unlimited infusions
