I loved Bali. It’s a beautiful place to be and I could happily stay there for life. Before planning my trip with family, I did some research and found out that “Kuta” is definitely not a miss. It is home to nice resorts and loved by tourists. So if you want to relax and party at night, 2 to 3 days are good to stay at Kuta; So I planned first half of our trip a Sheraton Bali Kuta Resort.
The resort is located about 20 minutes away from Ngurah Rai International Airport. It is right next to the “Beach Walk Mall” and the public beach is right in front of the resort. The day we landed it was raining heavily and we were thrilled to enjoy the showers and get a respite from the Dubai heat; Soon after the check-in, we spent our afternoon at the resort at Bali Lounge bar that offered striking ocean view. Gentle Rains, Hot Cup Of Tea and an amazing view of the Indian Ocean, There couldn’t be a better start to our trip!
Dining: The resort is equipped with an outdoor infinity pool overlooking the Indian Ocean. We spent the whole evening at the pool side and later had dinner at Bene Italian Kitchen. This restaurant is a must visit while you are at Bali even if you are staying elsewhere you must go there to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine, served with an interesting selection of wine and some lovely dim lite ambiance. It’s truly even great for early evening dinner as one can sit by the pool side or terrace and enjoy some great views along with great food. This restaurant is known for its 100 pasta menu that will take you all the way back to Italy on a culinary journey where Executive Chef Rossano Renzelli as a teenager started to learn cooking from his grandmother until today. Generations of Italian pasta passion, right on your plate will enrich your dining experience.
Spa: Shine Spa offers various treatment options with local Balinese touches. Lovely interiors and ambiance indeed. I opted for the Signature Shine Massage that was brilliant. Well who can beat Bali therapist in massages? They are simply amazing. By the way they also offer various signature treatments for couples.
Room: We booked for a Deluxe Ocean view room that had a private balcony overlooking the Indian ocean. The room is private, warm and furnished with touches of contemporary Balinese ideas.
Kids Fun: The hotel offers Play@Sheraton , an edutainment center that offers children some fun experience and educational activities. They have a baby pool and some slides as well for outdoor play. They have a whole list of activities that they offer each day from cup cake decorating to painting, it changes every day. My son Nirvaan had a gala time here while I was at spa. They also have 3 computer stations for kids where they can explore a whole lot of digital games.
This resort for sure is a great place to spend some quality time with family.
