I was recently invited to a Live Cooking event organized by Elevation Burger at its Jumeirah Beach Road restaurant. The event was aimed at raising awareness that a burger chain can both champion and provide healthy eating options. The event demonstrated Elevation Burger’s approach to using only organic produce and environmentally sustainable practices – from the farm to the end customers’ plate.
It was a media event and my husband was accompanying me.The event started with a brief talk by the brand ambassador named Taylor Avritt. He spoke about his journey with the brand since its establishment and the growth across in various middle eastern markets. He highlighted the usage of only fresh and organic ingredients for Elevation Burger and how it is important for our lifestyle. He also mentioned the significance of “Live healthy, Stay fit” campaign in collaboration with Dubai Sports Council, this community outreach initiative is intended to promote and educate people on the benefits of including healthy produce in their diet accompanied with sport activities which leads to healthier and happier lifestyle. Well definitely great initiative!!!
We learned during our meal that Elevation Burger’s organic produce extends beyond its 100% organic grass-fed, free-range beef, with 100% organic cage-free chicken and organic vegetarian options also making up the core items on its menu. All of these burgers come with a potato bun made of wheat flour, farm fresh vegetables and organic eggs. I was impressed to hear all this and couldn’t wait to try the healthy food.
I opted for a Vegetarian wrap and Vanilla shake with real strawberries. My husband opted for a chicken burger along with Coffee shake topped with chocolate sauce plus french fries cooked in olive oil. The food was good and of course it tasted healthy. We could feel the difference in taste from a regular burger as it felt light. We were not really stuffed; hence I also ordered for Cesar salad and come organic Aloe Vera juices that we really enjoyed. I did a quick tour of the restaurant and noticed that upstairs was great for families with kids as they have a play area as well and even good to host Kid’s Birthday parties.
Next I will be heading there with my son and his friends for an evening out.
