While there are some remarkable architectural feats that one can see in Dubai, Emirates Towers is one of my personal favorite. One cannot miss the Two Towers connected by a retail complex call the Boulevard as you pass through the Sheikh Zayed Road.
So I happily grabbed the chance to visit Mundo for lunch, located very close to the lobby in Emirates Towers Hotel. The feel of the place was business like with a wide range of assortments in this buffet restaurant. The options are incredible-One can have Indian, Japanese, Mediterranean & Italian Cuisines with a fantastic range of deserts and fresh fruits.
Most of what we had was very good. The staff greeted us with a freshly squeezed pineapple juice and helped us with a selection of salads and soups. We moved on to the live pasta and sushi stations and they were awesome. The steaks were great along with grilled chicken and Mutton Gravy one can have with options of breads. Our table had a great view of the swmming pool as we savored the dishes for almost 2 hours.
The high point of the buffet is the deserts. Amazing range of sorbets, mousse, pastries and cakes. While I loved the UmmAli, my friend enjoyed the chocolate brownie. The servers quickly offered us excellent cappuccino at the end of the meal.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and a great place for business lunch. I hope to visit Mundo again in the near future.
