A quiet dining place located in Al Barsha near Mall of the Emirates serves good north Indian food targeting not only Indians and Pakistanis but also the hotel guests of various nationalities and the residents in the area. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner and also offers home delivery. I went along with my family for dinner on a weekday. My son Nirvaan enjoys the open kitchen concept as he can see what’s cooking and how it is done. He is definitely going to be a good Chef I foresee 🙂
Vegetarians can opt for Paneer Tikka, Tandoori Gobi and Channa Chaat. I found Channa chat too bland for my taste and requested the Chef to make it more chatpata and spicy. The taste of the food is not very overwhelming for those you eat spicy and tangy food. You definitely need to mention this to the Chef at work. I did not like samosa at all. It wasn’t fresh and tasty. For main course, Dal Makhani was really good and so was Panner Masala with tandoori crispy Roti. Fresh juices are good to accompany the food. They do not serve alcohol so you will find some mocktails.
In non-vegetarian dishes my husband enjoyed the non-veg platter, Mutton Rog Josh, Tandoori Chicken, and Prawn biryani. Nirvaan loved the Tandoori chicken as well that’s all what he ate.
They have some really yummy sorbets especially Pineapple chilly sorbet is to die for. I totally loved it!!!
Desserts were really delicious especially Gajjar ka halwa and Rasmalai. I finished the Gajjar ka halwa all by myself. The presentation and taste both were superb.
A meal for 2 would cost between AED 250-350.
