I never give up on weekend fun. After all we work hard to party harder isn’t it? During Ramadan I landed at the famous The Address Dubai Mall for a nice staycation. The hotel is attached to the largest shopping and entertainment destinations in the world: The Dubai Mall; located in the happening Downtown Dubai overlooking the world’s tallest tower, Burj Khalifa. Spa, Shopping, Restaurants, Pool, Lounge, Wellness facilities and Kids club you name it and your stay is set as per your wish list.
We checked in late Thursday and the charming staff escorted us to the Premiere room featuring warm and welcoming décor, equipped with open kitchen, washing machine with private balconies offering sweeping views of the city. The same evening we had our Dinner at Na3Na3 restaurant serving middle eastern cuisine. It is located on the lobby level of the hotel right next to Bloomingdale’s store entrance. The restaurant remains open throughout the day from breakfast to dinner. Since we happened to be there during Ramadan the buffet was even special with an extensive menu featuring traditional favourites prepared within live cooking stations offering Ouzi, Arabian grills, Shawarmas, freshly baked bread, yummy Arabian sweets, and Ramadan beverages, with live music and a dedicated kids’ corner ensuring everyone is entertained. Post dinner it was time to shop at Dubai mall that was open until late night.
The next morning we woke up overlooking the beautiful high rise city view, sipped a cup of coffee and chose to go for a couple massage at the Spa. The Spa at the hotel is very enjoyable; it offers a wholesome menu of refreshing world-class experiences for both men and women, including massages, facials, purifying body wraps and intense body scrubs. We opted for couple massage in one of the 9 cozy treatment rooms. Well trained therapist, beautiful ambience and relaxation : Perfect treat for the body. While we were relaxing at the spa our little baby Nirvaan was having an amazing time at the Qix Kids Club which is exclusively for kids till the age of 12. It offers a wide range of entertainment and educational activities such as PlayStation, climbing walls, kids kitchen, toys, arts and crafts. It also has a daily schedule of movies, storytelling, dance and music. So you can definitely enjoy spa or shop while your kids enjoy at the club.
We had our lunch at Karat that serves international cuisine with a selection of gourmet sandwiches, savories and handpicked signature blends. I enjoyed the salads, tasty sandwiches, waffles and the fresh juices.
I loved the swimming pool at the hotel and spent the whole evening there. It’s a stunning infinity pool with spectacular views of Burj Khalifa on one side and the city view on the other. There is a dedicated children’s pool as well. After the sun sets one can unwind at the poolside restaurant Cabana that features air-conditioned poolside cabanas and an à la carte menu of International and Arabic delights along with aromatic shisha under the world’s tallest building.
Yes it was a lot of fun and I would recommend you to head there for a weekend of fun, food, relaxation and shopping.
A one night stay at The Address Dubai mall ranges between AED 1,300 to 1,800 with bed and breakfast.
There is no way you can miss this wonderful experience of staying at the Address!!!
