“A” Class Destination for North Indian cuisine in “D” Town

Searching for an appropriate venue for a date night or a cozy dinner with your loved ones? Then I would recommend  “Amala” for a  special luxurious evening. Located at the stunning Jumeirah Zabeel Saray, it is an exquisitely decorated restaurant that combines palatable North Indian cuisine with impeccable service. One has the choice to Dine within the magnificent interiors or outside on the lovely terrace.

The restaurant serves la carte as well as a three course tasting menu to suit your appetite. I visited “Amala” with my sister for her birthday and we opted for the menu at AED 325 per person: It gave us a huge selection of starters, mains and desserts. Some of my favorites from the vegetarian options are Mixed Chaat, Chokhi Tikki, Sounfiya Panner Tikka, Tandoori Cauliflower, Panner Makhni, Dal Amala, for breads: poudina paratha/ tandoori roti. For Dessert one must not miss Rasmalai.

For the non-vegetarians there are a lot of choices, the tops on the list are Tandoori prawns/ chicken, lamb chaap, butter chicken and biryanis. If you like your food to be spicy make sure you mention this while placing your order as the taste caters to all nationalities and you might miss the extra “tadka”.

And Ladies for you: Every Wednesday Chef de Cuisine : Aman Kumar takes classes for the one who would like to learn the intricacies of cooking dishes from North India.

Jivewithdeepti give a  Thumbs Up to this truly divine dining experience!!!
