Mumbai is a city very close to my heart. I have lived there for 7 years and keep going back as and when I can. During my recent visit, I spent my time at the Luxurious hotel located in the heart of city within the residential and corporate hub of Lower Parel. It’s an exquisite hotel; nestled within the uber-luxury High Street Phoenix allowing easy access to premium shopping, entertainment, and dining options.
My room in the hotel had an eclectic mix of classic and contemporary décor, designed with Indian tikri work specially commissioned from master craftsmen of Rajasthan.
The tranquil interiors of the Hotel are complemented by breathtaking views of the cityscape and the Arabian Sea.
My favourite from the hotel is the Outdoor Infinity Pool, that overlooks the cityscape, is the pièce de résistance of the wellness floor. A jacuzzi, sunk-in lounge area and a deck with four private cabanas make the poolside an ideal place to relax and rejuvenate. To ensure a complete experience, a gourmet food and beverage menu is available at the poolside.
Palladium is home to Seven Kitchens an award-winning interactive allday restaurant where guests can savor dim sums, pizzas, kebabs and some of the best street food from across the world. The vast interiors are perfect for large gatherings with friends, family and business dining. It is the go-to place for a leisurely Sunday Brunch with free flowing premium spirits, gourmet cuisine and live entertainment.
I spent a few hours at the Spa which looked like a popular refuge for resident guests as well. Here the therapists specialize in incorporating natural botanical extracts which rejuvenate and rebalance the mind and body. There are 9 Therapy Rooms that include 1 Couple Suite. With Internationally trained therapists and ‘ILA’ signature brand of products, this is truly an experience of serenity and relaxation.
Palladium Hotel boasts award-winning restaurants, decadent nightclubs and lounges with live entertainment as well as a wide range of cuisines. The interiors of each space reflect the concept and create a distinct vibe making them unique in their offering and ambience. From world Cuisine to handcrafted beverages, the dining venues include: The Piano Lounge, The Sahib Room and Kipling Bar, Seven Kitchens, Mekong, Yuuka, Li Bai, EXO and Asilo (happening club open till 3am in Aamchi Mumbai).
Next time you head to Mumbai do spend some time at the Palladium hotel and experience the time of luxury and serenity together.
