I took a corner spot at “Luigi”, overlooking the busy Sheikh Zayed Road with a view of running cars and elevated buildings. It felt blissful to sip on Rose’ wine in the cozy ambience while watching how fast the life is moving. We started our dinner with some hot soups. I chose the Minestrone Soup and my partner chose to try the Seafood Cioppino soup. Both the soups were appetizing with good portion size.
You must try the starter: Crostini: It is thin, crispy slices of bread that were topped with roasted garlic, sweet red onion and a thick tomato spread with fresh basil leaves. We liked it as it was fresh and nice. For main course we did not try the pizza but opted for Pastas: Spinach Tortellini for Veg and Chicken and Mushroom Fettuccine for Non Veg. I am not a great fan of Spinach Tortellini but it was really decent. However I really hope the new revised menu that they are working on should have some more vegetarian options.
For all those with a sweet tooth, please try Tiramisu: Mascarpone Cheese dessert served with some chocolate sauce and red berry. YUMMM!!!
