Dubai is undoubtedly the greatest city on earth and has the most luxurious places to visit. My love for this city has grown leaps and bounds as I discover how fantasies are being turned into reality. Last Weekend I happened to experience “The Address Marina Hotel” located on the Shaikh Zayed Road, where one can see the glittering metropolis in its complete beauty. The Address is a beautiful luxurious hotel located next to the Dubai Marina Mall. It has all what one needs after a tiring week: Sun, Fun, Glitz and Glamour!
I took advantage of an offer that the hotel is running until April 2015: Stay to Brunch every Weekend. It’s simple: Check into the hotel in style on Friday, enjoy the stay and revel in a distinguished brunch on Friday or Saturday and enjoy late checkout at 6pm. I booked a Premier Suite to enjoy my lovely piece of Dubai Paradise. My room was overlooking the fabulous Marina waterfront, sky high towers and the cruising yachts. Life couldn’t be better!!!
Have a look at the room and the view. Do I need to say more!
Few hours after the check-in I couldn’t help but rush to to the Spa. I could sense the much needed calm from the surroundings as I entered it and chose a 140 minutes treatment called the Indulgence (the signature treatment). It included a bamboo scrub to exfoliate the skin; algae wrap to detoxify the body followed by a traditional Balinese full body massage to compete the treatment. I would highly recommend this treatment as I left with the softest skin ever.
While I was enjoying the session, my kid, Nirvaan, was enjoying his time at the Kids play area assisted by a lady staff. I had nothing to worry about and could thoroughly pamper myself with the treatment.
The Hotel has an awesome Infinity Pool which one cannot miss; I spent hours relaxing by the pool. It is also home to Shades one of my favourite lounge in Dubai. I spent my evening at Shades with Sheesha, Drinks and the delectable selection of Tapas and à la carte offerings!! After a wonderful day, we headed to the suite to find the marina view leaving us completely stunned.
Here comes the time for the Brunch at Mazina. This signature restaurant offers extensive views of the Marina waterfront. The restaurant has a gold décor and row of lights dangling from the ceiling. Its lively show kitchens serve an eclectic variety of Asian, Arabic and European dishes, cooked right in front of you. One can walk upto the Chef at the station and get it made the way you like it. I have been to Mazina even before and it is always packed with families, couples and kids. Kids for sure have a lot of fun at Mazina with a dedicated play area and Buffet with a live Popcorn counter. I started with some bread and salads followed by the yummy Sushi and Noodle’s with stir fired vegetables. While sipping Pina Colada, I was thinking about my choice of dessert and finally settled for ice-cream with toppings of gummy bears and chocolate chips. The live music along with great food and great view: a perfect day spent.
I had explored most of the hotel but I was dying to go the Salon called the Jacque la Coupe for a makeover. I left the decision of my look on Jacque. He and his team turned out to be great and here is my new Hair look. What do you think?
I cannot think of a better way to spend a weekend in Dubai and I want all my readers to take some time out and enjoy a memorable stay at stay at the Address Dubai Marina.
