The second hotel where we stayed is the Resort Caldera View which is located between the traditional settlements Megalochori-Akrotiri in a quiet setting, 70 meters from the cliffs of Caldera. Caldera View Resort offers one of the biggest swimming pools on the island, with hydro massage and waterfall.
The best thing about this hotel is the View Café – Bar Restaurant that is an ideal place to relax. It gives beautiful and unique sunset views while enjoying refreshing drinks and delicious Greek traditional cuisine. My favorite from the bar is Strawberry Daiquiri. The hotel and bar are managed by all the members of the family. Very sweet family and they took good care of us.
It is an ideal place for trips and the bus stop is right in front of the property. Caldera View is only 7 km from Fira Town and the Airport, 3 km from the port, 2 km from Ancient Ruins, 1 km from Art Galleries and the famous Red Beach.

Staying in Santorini was one of the experiences that will always hold a special place in my heart. It is a beautiful place to visit and I highly recommend it. I visited it in June and learned from locals that September is the ideal time. Hotels, restaurants and travelling- all are very reasonable and you can have a great holiday.
Important links and facts:
While discovering the island I observed it can be a great place for destination weddings and honeymoon.
For a 5 day trip a budget of AED 5000 per person is ideal exclusive of flight tickets.
